Estillon’s Best Base collection is a range of underlay carpets that are produced in an environmentally friendly way in the Netherlands. They match perfectly with the carpet above.

The name Best Base includes 5 brands, each with their own specifications and variations. What they have in common is that they are made from a 100% recycled mix of high quality clean recycled polyurethane foam. Which guarantees a stable and sustainable installation.

All underlays are suitable for both domestic and project use, such as an entrance, restaurants, corridors, rooms and stairs.

Projects

In 20 years Estillon has provided several large and beautiful projects with underlays from the Best Base range. One of the last projects is the Grand Mosque in Tajikistan. From the sound tests the customer had arranged, the Starbase 8 mm came out as the best. This was an important argument to continue with this carpet underlay. The use of a good underlay therefore makes an important contribution to the improvement of the acoustics.

The largest mosque in Central Asia, the Grand Mosque in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, has chosen Starbase 8 mm carpet underlay for its floors. This underlay, from Estillon's Best Base range, was chosen from the sound tests that the Mosque commissioned. Starbase came out on top. This was an important argument to continue with Starbase.
