The largest mosque in Central Asia, the Grand Mosque in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, has chosen Starbase 8 mm carpet underlay for its floors. This underlay, from Estillon’s Best Base range, was chosen from the sound tests that the Mosque commissioned. Starbase came out on top. This was an important argument to continue with Starbase. The use of a good carpet underlay therefore makes an important contribution to the improvement of the acoustics.
